The Energetic Cost Of "Chronic Tolerance" 🪫
Hey
Last weeks challenge was absolutely incredible, you’ll be hearing from me over the coming days with some awesome updates (you can still join us, the community is ongoing, the replays and homework are evergreen, the challenge was to kick this community off).
We’ve also had a few aha moments in the Messy Action Members Club (my higher ticket offering)
How we do one thing is how we do everything. This client identified how she had been suffering from “chronic tolerance” (her exact words) and was struggling with being present in these kinds of environments. She was tolerating stuff that she didn’t REALLY LOVE and it was messing with her energy and depleting her life force. Can you relate?
I have tolerated so many things in my life. We instinctively don’t feel excited but try and ‘convince ourselves’ that it will eventually get better or our brain tries to trick us with fomo…
I don’t know about you but I have never ever regretted saying no to something that feels like a no.
Here’s an example:
I am going to New York City at the end of April. I was at a two day wedding this weekend and was seated with folks who have recently moved to Brooklyn. We were chatting about artists and stuff we love when they asked me if I’d like to come to a gig with them in May. When they mentioned the guy is a rapper and it’s R&B I knew it was a no.
Old me would have agreed or said “sounds great", I’ll check him out”.
New me said “that’s a no, I am not into rap or R&B, I’m into electronic music for gigs and have a couple saved while I’m in NYC, thank you though!”
This may seem small but it’s actually huge for me.
I said no to what I know would be a mediocre night for me purely because I like to LOSE myself in the artist and the music that I LOVE.
At this stage, I plan to go to:
BLOND:ISH @ Industry City
Andrew Schulz @ Madison Square Garden
Glass Beams @ Knockdown Center
I pulled this card today.

I prefer quality over quantity in life.
Quality high ticket clients.
Quality engaged leads.
Quality engaged Instagram audience.
Quality food in smaller portions (aka art).
Quality conversations with aligned people.
Quality connections with fewer people.
Quality over Quantity.
High ticket, low volume is my method in business.
My method in life is high quality, low volume which equates to presence and potency.
I am here for potent experiences curated for me, by me.
I am here for potent experiences created for me, as a byproduct of saying no to stuff I don’t want to do.
I know what I like.
You know what you like.
Where are you settling for less than you desire because you’re afraid of letting someone down over actually being happy.
